Well, this kinda turns the "liberals demand equal results" meme on its head...
So, if the fat kid at the lunch table decides he needs a piece of the other kids lunches...he gets to have it?
That's how "fair" is being defined here isn't it?
Or maybe it's the other way around, the fat kid's lunch gets redistributed among the skinnier kids who need the fat kid's calories more than the fat kid does...But isn't that "fat shaming" the poor little thing? Is that a need now too?
What a fantastic way to destroy the difference between "need" and "want" at an age where learning the real difference is so imperative. I think the person who created this sign should have their brain transplanted with the class hamster.
They clearly need it, so it's only fair that they get it.
As the old retort goes, fair means everyone has equal opportunity, not equal outcome, or even guarantees of any kind.
From each according to his ability, to each according to his need...

My mom taught me that “fair” was a place where you ride the merry~go~round. Life isn’t fair - it’s brutal, arbitrary, indifferent, and cruel.

Moreover, they tend to declare that your achievement and ambition hurt their feeeeeeelings. Ya big meanie.
If our federal welfare, healthcare and Social Security ONLY provided what assistance was really NEEDED (for survival), there would be a lot of very unhappy democrats. Oh, wait! That’s right! According to Dems, we are not paying out enough because the dependents aren’t even getting what they need, like condoms, birth control, abortion, cell phones, etc.
Dogfood provides enough nutition for survival. A tent and some tools on federal land provids for some shelter. Throw in a military grade wardrobe for all seasons and you have the basics for survival. We can afford that for the needy. But then, I’ll bet a lot of those needy people would become more self reliant. They’d either get jobs or turn to crime. We may need to use some of the savings to build more prisons in Alaska and West Texas.
I hate the word “fair” as much as I hate the phrase “for the common good.” Fair is what is fair in the eye of the beholder. It is totally subjective. What is fair to you is not fair to me. When the word “fair” is used somebody is getting screwed.
The kind of fair represented in the picture is more fairy tale than reality or justice.

People who use this definition of “fair” usually see themselves as being the ones who get to decide what others need.
Their definition means everyone gets what the government decides what they need, regardless whether they earn it or not.
Parents: You better rise up and get rid of these unions in our schools; otherwise, they are going to totally indoctrinate them with learning how to be Islamic.

Parents: You better get organized and get this junk out of our schools. Remember, the schools ARE TERRIFIED OF INFORMED PARENTS. If students are removed from the schools, the schools lose most of their money .. and since they worship money .. they are terrified you will remove your children.
