Unhappily, her skills are nothing to be proud of. I was a divorced mom with 3 children and either worked 2 jobs, or took continuing ed courses to acquire higher level skills. I never used food stamps or accepted any government handout. I made myself valuable and 4 years after being divorced bought a house. Only an idiot would believe that being a fast food server is a career or would take pride in it.
I do understand that if you work your way up say at Burger King or McDonalds, the managers can make pretty decent money....
