You would be surprised how many folks are too afraid of sharks to try it. But a lot would, I guess.

There are some videos on Youtube of environmentalists trying to establish tourism in areas where shark fishing has decimated the populations (both coasts of Mexico). The idea is to promote scuba diving in these areas as an alternative fishing for income. They seem to have been pretty successful.

The fishermen now take divers out with their boats to these coral areas with abundant sea life. I can see where your board would be a great alternative for those who didn't want to go through the process of becoming a certified diver to do the scuba thing. And most of these boats, IIRC, have large enough motors to pull 2 to 3 people if equipped with right props.

When something new like this is introduced, people find all kinds of new and interesting ways to put it to practical application. :-)
