McConnell needs to be next, but we need to focus on choosing the best possible conservative Speaker before we move on to the Senate. Boehner was not the problem - big government liberalism was and still is the problem. We need a small-government conservative as Speaker.

Kentucky has a democrat Governor, election this November. Obviously calls for McConnell to resign from the Senate are foolish unless the Republican wins.
Do what? There is nothing "Kentucky" can do to compel McConnell to quit, he was just reelected.

I didn’t reelect him the people of Kentucky did.
They didn’t have a better choice, his primary challenger ran a terrible race, though he’s running for Governor this year and doing a very good job, he learned from the mistakes he made running against McConnell.
Obviously the good people of Kentucky weren’t going to elect the bitch democrat in the general election.
Seat isn’t up again until 2020. He’ll be close to 80, I’d guess he won’t run again.
