wholeheartedly agree that the catholic "church" is one of the most corrupt and misleading religious entities in the history of the world.

Over the past 2000 years some of the most brilliant scholars and some of the most humble and pious people on the planet disagree with you but thank you for your Christian charity, may God bless you.

The people to whom you refer are equally sanctimonious as yourself. No "scholar" could possibly miss the passages in the New Testament that clearly contradict catholic doctrine.

Even the apostle Paul prophesied of the coming formation of the catholic "church" in 1 Timothy 4:

the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats

I grew up in a catholic stronghold and never knew I was eating fish every Friday in school because of religious ignorance.

BTW, conservative Bible scholars often attribute the "man of sin" of 2 Thess 2 as being the pope.

I encourage you to study for yourself what the Bible says you must do to be saved and stop being dictated to by false teachers and pedophiles.
