Democrats literally booed God at their 2012 national convention. When the left showers praise on him it has NOTHING to do with his purpose of being a man of God and everything to do with the hypocrisy of their rhetoric on the separation of church and state.
True, if he was conservative - they’d hate him & it wouldn’t be pretty.
The same with blacks and illegals. The left only cares about one thing.

And using that power to implement their agenda. And that agenda has nothing to do with blacks, illegals, or the pope. None of which the left could care less about.

This may be a stupid question but if he loves Marxism and socialism so much, why is he telling those living under those types of government to “flee” to the capitalism in the U.S.? He sure doesn’t seem very bright to me. Without capitalism, Marxism and socialism isn’t going to survive in America either.
Everything else is flexible depending upon promoting that one value.
I disagree widely with this Pope. One thing I am not. I am not angry that he gives his wrong opinions to Congress. It is the beauty of free speech. He will persuade some and not others. He happens to be a religious figure. So what. Now, he is not from this country, but many in this country value him. So he is not so bright about economics and weather. He does not understand the danger of centralized power. He seems to preach a social gospel. He seems to think being poor is being righteous and being rich is being unrighteous. He is a mystic. He doesn’t seem to understand the sin nature. On and on. Let the debate begin. He gave his opinion. Now lets hear from wiser and more educated people.
The left opened the door. Now let us hear from others.
If the pope advances their agenda, they’re for him.
If global warming advances the agenda, they promote that.
If global cooling advanced the agenda, they’d be touting that.
If Satan worship advanced their agenda, that would be redundant.
