I think Bloomberg’s Melinda Henneberger hit the whiskey a little too hard before she went to her MSNBC guest spot because she cited the bible and then told Christians that if we don’t accept the Syrian refugees, God will condemn us to the hellfire.

Uhhh yeah. She’s talking about this scripture from the Gospel of Matthew:
31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. 32 All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 33 He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left.
34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
41 “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42 For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43 I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.’
The problem is that I’m not sure ISIS terrorists masquerading as refugees are “the least of these brothers and sisters.” Neither are the refugees who are fleeing from crappy Muslim countries to wealthier socialist European countries because their welfare benefits are better.
And of course, as they always do, liberals ignore the fact that America already receives TONS of immigrants every year legally. And we give more money to the poor and to other charities than nearly every country just because we’re so wealthy and charitable. Somehow those facts are conveniently forgotten when the liberal left wants to help terrorists gain entry into America among the real refugees.
Atheists sure know a lot about what God wants from non-atheists, don’t they?
How about we help clear out the lunatics in their country so they can stay in their own country?

Hey Mr. Numbnutz reporter. What will happen to those who abort or aid in the abortion of 1.0 to 1.5 million innocent babies a year? Aren’t they “the least of these?” Who is more helpless? A Syrian refugee or an unborn baby?

Precisely. I made this point to one of the wife's book club members who was blubbering about the po Syrians and how we had a duty as Christians to take them in. She has quite a few grandchildren but couldn't or wouldn't understand my point. To her they wee just ‘po people who needed a hug and a check’ and by golly we were rich folks and owed it to them as they were po’.

I think He would condemn to hellfire morons who voted for and supported a President who has done absolutely nothing his entire term but empower and help spread Islamo-Nazism worldwide and is now in the process of arming them with nukes which may very well be the beginning of the end of humanity.
