Amazon and Barnes & Noble don't want to ban the Bible themselves. This is a "fake" petition to show how idiot liberals are in violating the free speech rights of Christians in this country. You missed the whole point.

I agree. Been there, done that. But sometimes reading the headline only instead reading the actual article or in this case, watching the video, leads you to a wrong conclusion.

Best to know more about what is going on than just what a headline reads before responding with a comment. IMO.

That was my first thought as well. I thought the verses just condemned a lack of hospitality.

Consider another issue arguably related to the move to ban the Bible. From a thread which addresses the Obama Muslim controversy …

The Muslims are arguably trying to take control of the world by outbreeding everybody else, and therefore ultimately outvoting everybody else. And by supporting both abortion and gay marriage which I understand Muslims don’t practice, Obama is promoting lower birthrates for non-Muslims, which will ultimately help to weaken the voting power of non-Muslims.
