So is their protocol for reaction to a bomb threat to keep the bomb there in the room and sit around it and sing Kumbaya, or are they supposed to evacuate? If they don’t evacuate, WTF is the point of the bomb threat? When I was in elementary school, someone called in a bomb threat, and our entire school evacuated. Why didn’t they do that here?

The authorities took proper and prudent measures. They called the police, just as they should have, and the police reviewed the situation, just as they should have. Upon inspection, they did not charge him or evacuate the school, which is just the conduct they should have taken.

Nobody outside the original teacher’s classroom should have ever heard about this ridiculous story. Instead, it’s sparked a national hue and cry, and you can f*cking BET YOUR LAST DOLLAR that this incident will be repeated time and time again by copycats, some just after their fifteen minutes, and others after lawsuit proceeds.
