Then the administrators and cops were complete idiots worthy of spending the rest of their days asking people if “they want fries with that”.
If there was the slightest iota of suspicion on their part, they should have followed full bomb threat protocol. That they didn’t says one of three things, they were 100% sure it wasn’t a bomb and just want “media attention to the threat”, or that they’re glaringly incompetent, or that some of the administration staff were in on it to “make a point about intolerance”...
A bomb hoax is a Class H felony and the school authorities had a legal duty to report it and the cops had a legal duty to investigate it.
