Why use a euphemism like “suspending,” as if there is a chance he will resume?

I've heard that it's for campaign spending purposes. He can still collect and spend money if the campaign is merely "suspended".

I felt like Perry had really stepped up his game since 2007 and he might have had a chance if not for the Don.

Donald Trump...didn’t have to use self-justifying rhetoric to establish his conservative bona fides.

Stopped reading right there.

Trump has no conservative bona fides.

All he has is some changed rhetoric that runs counter to his long record of having very liberal bona fides.

“Perry picked the wrong day to make this speech. He could easily have waited for September 12, and should have. Making his announcement on September 11 was thoughtless, and says little for a party and ideology that stand for fighting for our country when things get rough. Please allow us to think about 9/11 on 9/11, and come back when it’s over to drop out with grace”

I said this earlier. It was disgusting for him to disregard the significance of today for many people

I am disgusted. And if he was disrespectful because he is clueless and his team is clueless good riddance

He was governor of Texas on that day and bush was his former governor to whom he was lt governor
Disgusting

And if he doesn’t care about 9/11 because he is ... Oh well. He’s done

Donald Trump was immediately more interesting than all of the other candidates put together. He didn’t have to use self-justifying rhetoric to establish his conservative bona fides.

Because Trump has no conservative bona fides.

Rick Perry's briefcase is more conservative than Donald Trump. That said, there were always too many candidates in the Republican field.
