Death of S/T Steven Vincent
I am very saddened to report that Senior Trooper Steven Vincent has passed away this morning from the gunshot wounds he suffered yesterday in conjunction with a traffic investigation. As an organization, we are heartbroken over this senseless and tragic death. Our thoughts and prayers are with his surviving wife Katherine and his son Ethan as well as his entire extended family. ( Brothers, Tpr. Terrell Vincent and Chief Keith Vincent) Steven was proud to serve as a Louisiana State Trooper and we were proud to count him among our ranks. This loss exacts an enormous emotional toll on the State Police family, but we will do what is necessary and proper to honor Steven and support those who knew and loved him. He will be missed but never forgotten. Prayers.
Colonel Michael D. Edmonson
Prayers for the family of Officer Vincent.
Perp: Kevin Daigle, 54, of Lake Charles,
the guy has quite the rap sheet
Welp, somebody get a rope.
This makes me sick.
Prayers for the family and fellow Troopers that they find comfort from the Holy Ghost and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Trooper Vincent is in God’s hands now.
Some passersby prevented the guy from fleeing thankfully.
The judges keep releasing them so the cops have a job of constantly re arresting them. Then the judges get to have them in the courts again giving them job security. If they put them in jail for a long time the judges, cops, prosecutors, politicians, etc. would be out of work.
Which would be a good thing because then the cops and everyone else would respect the citizen again. They would see you on the street and say hi instead of looking at you as a criminal first.
Prayers up for a brother officer. RIP sir.
Prayers up to this officer’s family and friends...and fellow officers.
Thanks and blessings to the folks who held down the POS filth who shot him.
Oh no.........dear Lord, please give comfort to officer Vincent’s family and friends. RIP dear man and thank you for your sacrifice..........;(
It takes a very special breed to swear to protect & serve.
No such thing as routine traffic stop.
Warden Burl Cain is already picking out this guy’s cell.
I think you see matters much as I do. There is such a rush for lawyers of all kinds, competent of law and incompetent, to become judges that the system is overloaded with free loaders. To become a judge, local to fed, is a lifetime freebee dream come true.
My lawyer daughter-in-law is on track for a judgeship, but she can't afford the pay cut.
I don’t doubt that good lawyers can an do make more money than many judges. However I also believe that there are many incompetent lawyers who become judges not for furthering the justice system of the US but more directly to ensure their lifetime income.
RIP. Prayers for his family.
