We need a like button.

Is that specific enough for everyone?

Soros primarily plays with financial instruments. Trump manages real assets - apartment buildings, hotels, golf courses - as well as employees. Night and day.

“George Will missed the Reagan Revolution not only in 1976 but as late as 1980. In the 1979 Republican Presidential Primary, his first choice was Howard Baker, his second choice was George H. W. Bush, and his third choice was Reagan. Not until days before the 1980 general election did he write on November 3, 1980 that Reagan deserved election.

For all his wonderful columns, the Republican electorate better understood the needs of the nation and the excellence of a potential Reagan presidency than Will. It is hard to believe he was so wrong about a matter of such great import, despite Reagan’s presence on the national scene for many years.”

Amen!

Will gives me the creeps, but Trump dupes are far worse.

That’s a great list.

I’m hoping Trump can stay popular for a long time. I don’t think he’ll be the eventual nominee ... hoping for Cruz ... but he is the elephant in the room right now, and a fun elephant he is.

A lot of the air will go out of the campaign if he gets out. You might call it hot air, but I call it a breath of fresh air.

Thanks! Enjoyed that Trump/Laffer/Forbes video very much!

Also loved the clip you sent me of the 1988 Trump interview by Larry King. Looks like he was a Republican then and loved “republican principles.” Also noticed he was the same guy back then, only a little more mellow. LOL

George Will has been squishy to the X over the last twenty years. So now he is the self-appointed guy to vet Trump using William F. Buckley.

George, thanks for volunteering, but you outed yourself too far back to have any credibility now.

Ask yourself how many times George Will has been right in recent years.

Then ask yourself how many of these Trump FReepers have been wrong over those same years.

Good luck with that, because sooner or later you’re going to need new prescription lenses.

Never forget the Buckley Rule:

“The wisest choice would be the one who would win. No sense running Mona Lisa in a beauty contest. I’d be for the most right, viable candidate who could win. If you could convince me that Barry Goldwater could win, I’d vote for him.”

I agree on all points.

Trump connects with an audience.

I will not vote for another pretend conservative like Trump. If a true conservative like Cruz cannot win the general election, all we get is a continuation of the slow rolling of the progressive tide with someone like Trump. The kind of thinking that will lead to the inevitable destruction of our nation is exactly that which is satisfied with just “some very important things”. We need to articulate a conservative vision, not be satisfied with mediocrity and half measures. From where I stand, only Cruz (and perhaps Carson) truly offer that vision. Trump is playing the chumps....he is not the conservative savior.

In the same location. Today cavuto show Ben Carson interview
Aft the end Ben says that Trump is one of the kindest, mostcourteous. Generous men he knows. Not at all links his persona

In contrast my nephew has been telling me for weeks about the Billionaire Wrestling match. Stating. “He’s one of us!”

What a character! All for fun and charity of course !

Why should the other candidates commit to support him if he wins given that he’s not willing to commit to them?

(Waves hand wildly..."I know, I know!")

Because they won't support him and are already trying to backstab him?

He should start pacing himself for the long haul.

The man does not strike me as a slogger. I think he's not so much campaigning as just being The Donald. He seems to be having a good time.

I don’t agree. We need a lot more wheeling and dealing coming out of the White House.
