Somewhat like Yankee Doodle of folklore fame, Donald Trump came riding into town on a pony, while the mainstream media and friends accused him of charging in on a war horse.
Trump’s pony express is delivering the truth at a time when the politically correct legions make it safer to hold onto one’s tongue; a time when Reality TV is supplanting real life with fantasy.
But just like the truth when it’s finally unearthed, tellers of the truth aren’t always pretty. They sometimes come with wobbly knees; sport combed-over hair. Getting up in age, they display a multitude of other human failings and are soon shot down by a holier-than-thou mainstream media.
It’s not the sparkling fairy dust that covers most politicians, but the brash delivery of the truth that is making diamond-in-the-rough Donald Trump soar in popularity polls.
And sometimes the purveyors of the truth are using it as a commodity for an end, and not as an expression of their own views. So far, it feels this way with Trump. For every good thing he is saying now, he said something different not even three years gone. Still, it is good that someone the media will cover is saying it.

I want her to apologize just like they keep hounding everyone else to do.
Also, the 3 of them didn’t hatch this plan to go after Trump and not call on Cruz by themselves, its too good for Jeb, I want to know who told them to sideline Cruz and attack Donald.

Last night Hannity interviewed Jonah Goldberg, the epitome of establishment, on to bash Trump left and right. “He’s not a conservative, I am, I know what I’m talking about, he’s a phony, I’m taking my marbles and going home if Trump wins”. I felt like throwing up. From Goldberg, to Steven Hayes, to Will, they nauseat me with their Bush worship, all the while claiming they are “Reagan conservatives”, what a joke.

Utterly sad......but at least they are being revealed for their true selves, and I don’t have to tune them in anymore.
Yes finally someone running for the Presidency who just states the facts and pledges to do his best to fix things. Sometimes its just as simple as that.
I trust a billionaire businessman to be smart enough to fix the VA. He doesn’t have to tell me exactly how right this second. He probably needs to sit down and talk to some people and then resolve the problem but I trust he is competent to do it.
Same deal with taxes. Although I really like Trump’s 1% 5% 10% 15% plan. Everybody has some skin in the game.
The thing about the Presidency is that there is wealth of info that is secret to the average person. The day you get inaugurated they take you into the Oval Office and show you the book of secrets. Then you can start making decisions based on having all the facts.
I will vote for Trump for because I think he’s honest, I think he is sincere and I think he’s smart enough to figure it out.
Totally agree with you. I just saw the perpetually constipated Byron York on Fox a little while ago. I could vomit from these guys. They are beside themselves that they have not been able to run Trump off yet.

Kelly has taken the flak, but Baier with his plan to walk Trump off the stage to the elevator a la “The Apprentice” was horrible.
I mean, who even thinks like that?
I never pegged him to be such a horrible person.
How come he didn’t use the hook to get Rand Paul off the stage when he spoke out of turn?
Because the hook was only for Trump.
Well at least Trump is talking more about his policies today.
But he had to take care of business with Kelly and Fox first.
And that was a warning to CNN, MSNBC, and ABC News as well.
Fox could have been the ones to elevate this whole “debate” paradigm” which is really obsolete.
But they choose to obey their GOP-E and USCoC masters.

I’d like to nominate whomever locked him out for a Nobel Prize in every category plus a couple that should be included but aren’t.
I’ve got 16 months to evaluate Trump. I am a Cruz/Walker supporter. They have been consistent conservatives all of their lives. I do not want to risk the Republic on a “johny -come-lately” charlatan. The problems are too serious. Does Trump know how to negotiate the vagaries of politics ang get things done? Does he know the role of the Executive vis-a-vis the Legislative and judicial branches. Doe he know how to handle the 2 am calls? Does he know how to seek divine guidance when every newspaper and pundit is out to get him? Does he know how to handle a 17 trillion dollar deficit? Does he know how to reign in entitlements? Can he set a moral example for a nation bent on wickedness? These are serious times and require a Lincolnesque wisdom. Does Trump have this. I will wait and see.

The next one that will try to take out Trump, and in the process ruin the debate and turn it into a circus, will be Carly Fiorina. I would imagine a job awaits her at Fox when she bows out of the race. She’s their new weapon. She makes every show that’ll have her and badmouths Trump like any good feminist democrat. She “knows, and all women know” that he was talking about Megyn O’Kelly’s period when he mentioned blood. She’s knows like Erick Erickson the mind-reader knows. The truth of the matter is it takes sick SOB to even think something like that and if not for Porky Pig Erickson mentioning it, like a the sicko he is, Fiorina would have never brought it up. So when she starts her attacks on Trump at next months’s CNN debate, she better be prepared for incoming from Trump because she’ll get it this time. She’s a big time RINO, who had sat on boards that do business with the Clinton Foundation. She was also a terrible CEO who got fired and cost some 30 thousand employees their job. This, and more, will be brought up by Trump when she starts the flame-throwing.

You are absolutely correct—Fiorina is the next Jeb Bush attack dog. She will be the next one to attack Trump to clear the way for Jeb, and as you said, she started in Saturday by divining that Trump was talking about Kelly nether regions.
A real mind-reader, that one.
More and more, I am realizing what a fraud she really is. Fiorina is completely aligned with the GOP-E and the US Chamber of Commerce, a real lib.
I am sure Trump knows the insider baseball on HP/Compaq.
Trump is doing the Lords Work—He may never be president—but the USA will never be the same. He has ripped off the masks of PC—MSM dominance—Leftist Fantasy world—Power grabs—and PP barbarism. USA is sick and needs to re-boot.
