The horror of abortion becomes infinitely worse when you realize that almost every woman having an abortion made the choice to get pregnant, knowing that she can “take care of it” through abortion (that is way too accessible). The exceptions are those whose lives are in immediate danger from the pregnancy—e.g. those having ectopic pregnancies.
If I had my way, Planned Parenthood sales representatives who go into schools to encourage teens to get pregnant (while claiming to provide sex/birth control education) would be forced to be honest about pregnancy and the nature of abortion. Abortion businesses would be forced to not only show the client a high quality ultrasound image of the baby beforehand, but also show her the corpse afterwards. I would do everything possible to force the abortion industry to be truthful.
Just to clarify a point, the removal of a diseased fallopian tube even if it is implanted is not an abortion from a moral standpoint. It is a morally licit act under the principle of double effect.
Those women don't go to PP, ever.
They go to a hospital and a certified surgeon does the work. These women are generally devastated and if there was any way to save their child's life they would take it even at the risk of their own. But there is no way currently to remove a child from where they have implanted themselves and pop them into the womb where they belong.
