You can have Trump I will serve the Lord my God.

No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.
Isaiah 54:17

"You can have Trump I will serve the Lord my God."

Great Fancy Moses, dude! Are you equating Trump supporters with worshiping another God while you elevate yourself to a more 'worthy' stature? This is the same smarmy, pithy, superior, hypocritical behavior that turns people off to Christianity in the first place- not to mention a spit in the eye to other Christians involved in this discussion. Shame on you!

I am not arguing with your position regarding any of the candidates. Vote your conscience, by all means! But please have the common decency to understand that we're all trying to hash this out for ourselves too, and keep your sense of superiority in check. As a Christian myself, I find your posts indicative of a faith that is a mile wide and an inch deep.

How about you let Christ be the ultimate arbiter, and stay out of His way?

And oh, by the way: if you think you can strut around with your "I'm the holiest one in the room" attitude and get away with trying to slap down argument with a bible verse, think again. Christ Himself admonished: "Let him who is without sin cast the first stone.

Put down the rock and let us reason together. A nation hangs in the balance.

I never said that I was trading The LORD for Donald Trump ...

it’s absolutely amazing how thin-skinned some Christians are ... while they read things into other people’s words that aren’t there at all ...

I guess that public ‘umble piety has it own rewards ...
