Short of entire populations actually being dragged off to cattle cars, death camps and mass summary executions, no.
America is not like any other county in history. Everyone who fought for, let alone died, for this country, did so for the Constitution. IMHO, despite the cackles, mocking, laughter and abuse from the Left, w have a sacred, holy obligation to make use of that Constitution as absolutely humanly far as possible. And personally, I don't think we've even begin to explore its true power. The Constitution is all but ignored even by conservatives. A mere one percent - or less - of the population keeps the faith, studies, learns and involves itself with supporting it, and it's so powerful all the efforts of the Left still can't break it. That's because the United States Constitution Congress from God.
The Left WANTS rebellion for that reason. The Left destroys education so the population can't learn and understand the enormous inheritance of peaceful power they've been bequeathed by their forbearers. The Left is terrified of The People recognizing their innate Constitutional protections.
Compared to that greatness, rebellion is the suicide of morons.
“That’s because the United States Constitution Congress from God.”
should be:
“That’s because the United States Constitution comes from God.”
(I don’t know where Congress comes from...)
Very eloquent.
Which is one of the pragmatic reasons why the word “rebellion” was not in the Declaration of Independence.
The spiritual reason rebellion it is not to be found there is because Jefferson knew his Bible well enough not to use the word. He carefully crafted his argument to override the Biblical injunction against “rebellion”. One could say he even themed and titled the entire document so as to forbid any evidence for rebellion... thus instead we have a “declaration” of our independence.
Jefferson knew Saul had his kingdom wrested from him over rebellion and he knew Christians in the Colonies also knew why:
