We recently lost our four year old Yorkie mix to lymphoma. He was a perfect dog and this was totally unexpected.

I recommend getting another dog and for this reason. There are many dogs available in the animal shelters and through the internet. I would strongly recommend that the dog be described as house broken, heart worm negative and ideally shots up to date. House breaking can really be a problem so you need to know this up front.

I would opt for about a two year old dog that is fully grown and well behaved. They are available if you look around.

Good luck!

Look at it like this. Your dog’s death may have spared another dog a needless death through euthanasia. I have always looked at it like this although we never lost a dog this young before.

I’m so sorry you lost one so young.
I’m a big believer in rescues.
