MSNBC host Chris Matthews did not receive an answer from DNC Chair, Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.), when he asked what the difference between a Democrat and a Socialist is. [ ]
Wasserman Schultz chuckled in response. I used to think there is a big differencebut what do you think it is? Matthews continued. Between a Democrat like Hillary Clinton and a Socialist like Bernie Sanders.

Even simpleton Schultz had it right... today there is no difference between a Democrat and a socialist.
They are still afraid to admit it to the LIV’s.
What’s the difference between a socialist and a national socialist?
Damn! I now have something in common with Debby Wasserman-Shultz. I can’t tell the difference either.
Democrats have better PR. That’s about it.
She’s not alone.
Already during WWII, F. A. Hayeks classic book, The Road to Serfdom, was dedicated to the socialists of all parties.Readers' Digest Condensed Version of the Road to Serfdom (in PDF format)
The difference is that Sanders is to the righy of Clinton.
Not likely. Sanders can say anything, but the issue is always the revolution.
Wow, Debby Wasserman-Shultz actually got it right for a change....giving rise to the old expression “even a blind rabbit can find a carrot every once in a while”.
Neither can anyone else.
>> The difference is that Sanders is to the right of Clinton <<
I’d say you’re correct when it comes to gun control and immigration control, but it seems as if BS and HRC are pretty much on the same page for just about everything else.
That being said, I think the biggest difference between Bernie and Her Highness is that Sanders is actually an honest man, in that he doesn’t try to hide his socialist identity. In fact, he positively revels in openly declaring his extreme left-wing ideology, whereas Hillary is all about deception, distortion and duplicity, on all fronts, all of the time.
The major difference is Bernie adheres to his principles whereas Hillary would sell Chelsea into slavery to acquire the powers she thinks are her birthright.
