What gets me about this raid is that it seemed to be a very “professional” job. By this I mean considerable planning and forethought, and some degree of discipline by the robbers.

They knew it was a harder target, so planned accordingly and used two vehicles, a ramming vehicle and a getaway vehicle, with the idea that the ramming vehicle had a good chance of being disabled.

With that much planning, they also knew that time was at a great premium, so needed to identify what would be stolen that was of high value, light and easy to carry. Once the gate was breeched, they all had to work very quickly.

Hit by gunfire, they immediately fled and didn’t try to shoot it out, and when the one went to the hospital, he had nothing to say.

Based on these things, I suspect the robbers were a robbery gang, likely from out of state, knew exactly what they wanted to steal and had a fence waiting to take the hot merchandise.

Excellent observations. I had similar thoughts, but did not get as far as you. Quite a bit of planning involved.
