What is their definition of "food waste"?

I for one am not going to eat the spoiled food in my fridge.

That's why it's called "garbage".

And I pay through the nose to have my "garbage" taken away.

That's the deal.

And for the record, I do recycle. Recylables that is.

Not rotten mayonnaise.

What kind of fool wastes water washing out jars so they're "clean enough" to recycle?

Good point. All the people hollering about wasting resources are the same types who scream about wasting water. Yet how many millions of gallons of water are used every day by people washing their recyclables?

And how much fuel is used and exhaust pumped into the atmosphere by the vehicles going around picking up the recyclables?
