It's time for someone on TV to step up and take Donald Trump down — or, at least, put him in his place..
The situation has not risen to the level of Edward R. Murrow and Sen. Joseph McCarthy. But it's definitely in a league with Katie Couric and Sarah Palin.
And every day that Trump gets away with driving the vast majority of political coverage on network and cable TV with his reckless, tabloid-style attacks and unsubstantiated claims is another day that the nation loses in having an informed discussion about where it wants to go in terms of leadership after Barack Obama.
Coarsening the conversation of democracy hardly starts to describe a candidate for president collectively characterizing Mexican immigrants as rapists and drug dealers, or questioning the war record of Sen. John McCain, who spent five years as a prisoner of war in Vietnam.
Compared to those ignorant and ugly acts, Trump calling South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham a "stiff" while giving out his cellphone number seems like mere high school bully-boy stuff. But is this really the tabloid, reality-TV level at which we want our most important civic pageant to play?
Trump drags almost every part of the presidential selection process down to his level. Graham, one of the most thoughtful and civil national leaders I have ever encountered....

I would love to see really eager and serious “journalistic” attempts to “take Trump down!” The MSM is accomplishing that which they are trying very hard to prevent. They have horseshoe prints all over their foreheads.
These ‘journalists’ are going to be exposed for the frauds they ARE.

Trump has the biased liberals of the Mainstream Media in a complete panic.
TRUMP is controlling the narratives, not them.

Just last night, Jimmy Fallon spent FIFTEEN MINUTES of his show attacking and ridiculing Trump.

NBC, for example, has gone full retard in trying to drive Trump’s negatives up with the low-infos, attacking him mercilessly across ALL of their networks, including Telemundo.
But, so far, Trump has been able to speak above the explosion of media hate and ridicule, just like Reagan did.
A redundancy.
The feckless Republicans:
First they said they couldn’t do anything because they didn’t have the Presidency, House or Senate. Then they said they couldn’t do anything because Harry Reid was blocking everything in the Senate. Then they said they couldn’t do anything until the 2016 elections because Obama would veto. Now they are saying they won’t be able to do anything even with a Republican President because too many Senate seats are up for grabs in 2018.
Trump is not even in office yet, and yet he is getting things done. Thanks to Donald Trump, they are holding hearings on the hill focusing on the deaths of Americans by illegals. Thanks to Trump, many low information voters in this country who had never heard of sanctuary cities, or didn’t even believe they existed when they did hear about it.
Trump paddled Anderson Pooper the other day.
Every time Anderson tried to interrupt The Donald, Trump would fire back “Excuse me.” and roll right on. Pooper would meekly retreat.

Liberals like to think Katie Couric took out Sarah Palin when it was more likely Tina Fey that did it.
We know Anderson Cooper isn’t up to it.
George Steponallofus took out Romney but he’s no match for Trump. Maybe they should bring out Gwen Ifill.
The poll was taken July 16-19 the poll said “all adults” of which registered voters were a subset.
It’s the Washington Post ABC national News poll and I can’t find anything on methodology or sample size.
John McCain “took out” Sarah Palin, as far as her becoming vice president is concerned.
What Trump is doing to the Left — Wonderful stuff!! Needs to continue until the Left is reduced to screaming and tears ... it’s getting close to that!

The more they try to take him down, the more he rises.
If they really want to take him down, they should try flattering him and giving him good coverage.
So what else is new?
Well, they have been more-or-less successful and are now upset that they are being gored by the bull they created.
Most citizens are now paying attention to Mr. Trump because he is giving them what they want...politics as reality TV.
The libs (DNC, GOPe, and Media) wanted low IQ voters, got them, and are now shocked to find that Mr. Trump is much better at pulling on the voters strings than they ever hoped they would be.
The libs may have created this political circus, but in today's media obsessed world, Mr. Trump is P.T. Barnum.
Leftists want to end debate—not have an open debate. They are the PC crowd—the false “outrage” crowd. They want to take out Trump any way they can—They faer he will win the first debate and their darling Jeb Bush will be knocked out.
