Federal District Judge Andrew Hanen has entered a preliminary injunction preventing the implementation of President Obamas post-election amnesty order. Since entry of the injunction, Judge Hanen has been apprised of certain misrepresentations regarding the status of Obamas order. The parties are in the process of working out an agreement to resolve discovery issues and report to the court regarding those misrepresentations. In an order entered yesterday (posted online here), Judge Hanen pursues a related issue:

It would be interesting to see a Federal Judge issue a bench warrant for a Senior Administration Official.

Order them to appear and then order the US Marshals to place them under arrest for contempt of court and make sure you put them in with the general and mostly illegal prison population.

I see what you did there....
I was once naïve enough to think Issa or Gowdy were going to do something - but they didn’t.
So far, this judge sounds good, but where is the action? He has allowed the government to drag this out month after month giving them the benefit of doubt each time. Even now, he is giving them yet another month.
I want to believe, but until he puts a bunch of these people, and high level people especially, in prison for contempt, and I don’t mean in a country club or house arrest, I am very skeptical.
Isn’t Judge Hanen The Law operating West of the Pecos?
