Sorry, but my definition of ‘family’ is Mom, Dad, and kids. In this case what they are talking about is unmarried women having kids as ‘profit centers’ to up their monthly take.
I've published this idea several times including links to the Heritage group that has gathered the actual facts - and the truth is this: while everyone goes on and on about Social Security, the actual cancer that is eating the country alive is welfare. It is the destroyer that will end every facet of life as we know it.

No matter that the whole process is blatantly unconstitutional, NO politician has the fortitude to even suggest winding it down...just look at the ca-ca storm W kicked up for SUGGESTING that one should be ‘allowed’ to invest their OWN $$, up to 2% (??) outside of Social Security.
Of course, anyone even bringing up the facts (skirting the whole Constitution to begin) that SS rate of return is near 0, there is NO ‘lock-box’, it is NOT something you can bequeath if you die ‘early’, etc. etc. are roundly rejected by both parties and ridiculed and hounded.
