I’ve been saying it for several years now.
I was born in the 50s and cherished my freedom, loved my country, and loved being Patriotic. Since realizing just how much freedom we have lost, and just how many people are living off government largesse, I feel that “Happy Dependence Day” makes the point better than talking about gaining independence from the crown. That war was won long ago. We are in a current bitter culture war and it is not going so well.
I am so dismayed over our diminished economy, and degenerating culture.. You must understand as I do, we are tittering near the point of no return.. My, my.. :/
