They always had great cars with pathetic quality control. Lots of cool toys from the pentastar.
Chrysler also has this thing about being weirdly behind the times on some things. For instance I had a ‘78 winnebago camper with a dodge chassis. This thing had a ballast resistor in the ignition circuit. All other car makers got rid of this piece of technology by the mid sixties. Chrysler finally replaced it in the early ‘80s.
