Every single white person alive today is "complicit" in slavery, according to Assistant Professor of Humanities Adam Kotsko, and should kill themselves. Dr. Kotsko teaches at Shimer College in Chicago.
According to Dr. Kotsko, if you are white, and even if your ancestors never owned slaves, you are still complicit for it. When asked what white people should do because of it, Kotsko said whites "should commit mass suicide:"

I am not morally responsible for slavery, because I had no direct choice about what people did centuries ago.If I am not morally responsible, then I do not deserve any form of moral judgement or just punishment.

You would think that the “professor” would know where the term “slave” came from. He should also know that the concept of chattel slavery wasn’t a “white” invention.
