Freedom to Marry Campaign Director Marc Solomon .... on Monday’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports.”
Solomon was asked how he would respond to those who argue people with religious objections should not be forced to provide services for same-sex weddings, he answered “The way I would counter it is that in America, if you are open to business, you’re open to business for everybody. We’ve been through this debate 50 years ago, on other crucial civil rights matters. And you don’t have a policy where companies, businesses say yes to many people but no to some. That’s a non-American approach and I don’t think the — the American people won’t stand for it.”

When dealing with oppressors, it is generally better to avoid them than try to evade or stand up to them.
All anyone who provides wedding services needs to do is to make just those services *not* available to the public, but only by contract with churches that do not marry homosexuals.
Churches can (still) legally discriminate. And contract law is pretty “bullet proof” in the courts. So if you put the two together, a business can serve just the clientele they want to, as long as those clients go through one of these churches.
