You must not have visited a nursing home lately. It's "going to be" is actually how it is now.
I think you already know, but just don’ want to admit it. These people’s lives will be made a living hell. They will be a protected class and cannot be fired or forced to do their jobs. To the people that are placed in their care, death will be a blessing.

I’m an older white employee who works in what has become in the time I’ve been there a predominantly nonwhite workplace (a hospital).
I already get treated like crap on a consistent basis and there is nothing I can do about it.

My grandmother was on a bus in New Orleans when she overhead a Cou’s of black nurses talking. One said, “When I get a white, I takes my time and hope the bastard will die!” My grandma’s been gone 25 years, so it was at least that long ago.
My husband’s great-aunt was beaten to death in a Florida nursing home 20 hears ago. To her detriment, she was fond of using the n-word. Her family (who rarely visited and saw bruises on her when they did) sued and won, but she is still dead.
