I’m not one of those who claim Lincoln AND the confederacy. Nor do I see where the confederacy has anything to do with being conservative.
I do see where it ties in with fighting tyranny. And tyranny is here, folks! And that is a confederacy I’d be willing to join and hopefully it be a peaceful solution. And it could be unless, of course, there’s another Lincoln in the white house.
As for a re-play? I would hate to see another Civil War. It would be hard to draw lines today.

Didn't say you did. Ann Coulter does, however. It depends on what audience she's speaking to on any given day. If she's at a Lincoln Day dinner in a northern state, she says "our party freed the slaves". If she's speaking to some Tea Party group in the deep south, she embraces the confederate flag and claims the civil war "had nothing to do with slavery".
