Wow. That is so shocking these days.
Not at all; they are fighting for the same “freebies” in the business world (unearned promotions/pay, even initially being hired for jobs for which they aren’t qualified). There is a real issue for managers as the white guys start working the bare minimum hours put in by their female counterparts (all salaried employees); the childless white females for their part resent the families of the women of color, and how they are used as a pretense for avoiding longer hours. In the end, gender discrimination policies are helping the guys have a shot at “having it all”; it is great to be able to take my children to their soccer practices/games instead of showing up towards the end in my work clothes...
