(CNN)—It looks like it has happened again. A young male has allegedly killed. In this case it is nine people at a church in South Carolina. Anyone who is paying attention hears the news and thinks, "Here we go again." But why? After spending 20 years interviewing killers as a psychological expert witness in murder cases I have some thoughts about this.
Males are disproportionately over-represented in the ranks of America's killers -- about 90%, in fact. Why is that? Some of it appears to lie in the biological vulnerability of males. About 30% of males (versus 9% of females) have a form of the MAOA gene that impairs their ability to deal effectively and pro-socially with stressful situations (like living in an abusive family). Thus, the vast majority of males who have this genetic vulnerability and who live in abusive families end up engaging in a chronic pattern of aggression, bad behavior, acting out and violating the rights of others by the time they are 10 years old.
It's a childhood pattern that is often the gateway to seriously violent delinquency and perhaps murder. This genetic vulnerability is part of a larger pattern for males. But this is only a part, perhaps a small part, of the larger story.

Of course I don’t know anything about this guy, but I heard on the news he’d had some past arrests. But his record, as I heard it, would not lead one to think his next offense was going to be multiple murders...in a church for crying out loud.
And you know, I really hate people like this, who prey on women and old people and children. I certainly hope he’s sentenced to death and executed ASAP.

As I recall it from years ago, Hispanics are combined with whites for the offender stats but broken out as a separate group for the victim stats. While that may have changed in recent years, I don’t think it has.
Unfortunately, that means you will also get more men who are willing to use that deadly force when it isn't necessary. Still, the benefits to society must outweigh that downside, otherwise women would start selecting meek and passive men as sexual partners more often.
I thought it was because they don’t have jobs and are underrepresented in college.

Men kill. Men go to war. Men fight. Men dare each other. Men dive off cliffs. Men leap out of planes. Men ride motorcycles. Men shoot guns. Men collect weapons. Men pee standing up. Men have higher appetites for risk than women. Men need less security than women.
CNN is just trying to shove the same old unisex propaganda down the throats of the mindless, brain-dead liberal sheep who take every word they say on faith, so they can advance their communist agenda.
Ban guns. Put boys on Ritalin. Promote homosexuality. Promote abortion.
I hate liberals with a passion. It is a shame we can’t go all Game of Thrones on them and simply exterminate the lot.
I’m dying to see a story by the author about all the gang-banging black on black murder in Chicago where guns are almost banned because gun control is so restrictive. Never happen. It doesn’t advance his communist elitest panzie asswipe agenda.

In the last ten years more whites were killed/murdered by blacks than all the blacks lynched by whites in the past 86 years.
Yes. Many blacks are killed my Hispanics usually Mexican gangbangers. They are lumped in with whites. The actual number of blacks murdered by non-Hispanic whites or just non-Mexicans is much lower.

Seriously, my view is true Hispanics are either heavily Indian in background or perhaps they count as an Indian group in themselves.
Some are obviously white or black, but many real Mexicans, eg, look unique and apart from either of those.
Sigh.
When necessary, it’s how we roll.
Because women tend to be more devious in their crimes.
