Many people believe that Jon Snow is brought back from the death just like Beric Dondarrion was killed and resurrected by the red magic.

I hope so. I assume there's no reference to this in GRRM's books, as he's still writing more books... to keep up with the show, I guess, lol.

Homosexuals are mentally ill by nature, and will try to skew things to their own way of thinking. I wouldn’t want to invest in watching something that’s going to be a complete downer all the time.

I've watched every episode. It hasn't been a downer "all the time", but I will say "often". The season finale last night was one of those downer episodes.

Homosexuals so far have been minor characters on GoT. Most of the characters are heterosexual.

and I applauded little Miss I Wanna Be Nobody’s choice of kills

Yes! It was gruesome, but pretty darn satisfying, lol.

However, will there even be ANY characters the readers even care about left to warrant reading them? Who knows, maybe John Snow will make a miraculous recovery... However, IF that happens would he still be the same man the readers like and care about?

They had better not kill off Tyrion Lannister, my favorite character. He always gets the best lines in the show, and delivers 'em perfectly. Love the British accent coming from this New Jersey native (Peter Dinklage), too, lol. I think he may be one of the few American actors on GoT...

I've had the same thought, that GRRM might have changed his storyline just to throw off fans who have doped out too much for his liking. The superabundance of characters gives him plenty of options. He writes long, so there is plenty of time in the book version to develop a minor character into a new lead. In the tv version, not so much. They are simplifying as they go.

I wonder if GRRM will burn all his notes when he's done, or let fans see the evolution of the plot over time.

>>Homosexuals so far have been minor characters on GoT. Most of the characters are heterosexual.<<

And in the books, it’s just alluded to. Not overt in any way.

That’s assuming he ever gets done. The big middle-finger to all the fans will be for the story to die with him.

That depends on your theological perspective on Westerosi prophecy. If Jon comes back, he is someone very important. But maybe the prophecy is hokum.

With the 3rd death being a massive sacrifice (Nissa Nissa).

Yep

And Laz was right As usual

You keep emotionally investing in character favorites who are the rare moral POV who die

Snow was just really a wonderful inspiring role model character with a heart and my oldest boy is told he looks like him all the time

It’s like the anti climax of the early 70s movie The Cowboys

One I always remembered

This series exemplifies our age of nihilism and ages old morality crushed under the weight of minority grievance and cultural tyranny

I’ll say one thing though

Lena Headey is one exponentially hellacious foxy lady as a 42 year old mom

Even with shorn hair and crap thrown at her

Stunning

Only redeeming thing about last night

"Tonight's episode was such a downer. We saw the very mortal, dirty and disheveled Daenerys wandering around in the middle of nowhere, in search of more food for her ailing dragon. I assumed she flew off to find the two other dragons, and they would all return to Meereen to enact 'peace through strength'."

I think Dany went off in search of food for herself. Drogon looked like he was surrounded by the remains of a herd of something (cows?). Not sure if he was acting the way he was due to his injuries from the fighting pit or if he had a belly ache after eating all of those animals or a combination of the two.

Dany's two other dragons (Viserion and Rhaegal) are still chained up in the catacombs of Meereen.

You’re channeling Bobby Ewing in the shower aka Dallas if you’re old enough to remember

The other two dragons are locked in the tower in Meeren

The one saved her is the dominant one

And he took her back to the folks she’s actually Queen of

The Dothraki

After all the gratuitous homo crap early on.,,, the slurp.,..

I shoulda know better

And burning a sweet girl alive?

No one woulda done that in my youth on screen

These folks are twisted

And they sensationalize more than the books for effect

The gay crap is inserted I assume at HBOs request.,,..if not then why is it there?

It’s like propaganda

I’ve seen Weiss and Benioff interviewed

They are soft urban hipster types

Probably never fought anyone or anything

John Ford and Sam Peckinpah were men

Drank and fought

These libtards are video game warriors

(Yes Borges...I know you’re lurking this thread and that Ford was a lib and fought Duke over politics)

In the books the current state of the other two dragons is far better IMO.

There was a plot line in the books that resulted in a different outcome for them at the end of book 5. That plot line was not present in the TV series unfortunately.

By the end of book 5, one could say that all three dragons had risen greatly in their dragonhood, with Drogon being at the top of the heap of course, since he had spent considerable time flying around free, while the other two remained confined, which inhibits the growth of dragons.

Nonetheless, Viserion and Rhaegal did what dragons are supposed to do.

I wish we had been able to see that in the series.

Rumor?

There is a popular rumor about Ned Starks's sister Lyana. It is known that Ragaer Targaryan kidnapped Lyanna and kept her captive. This is what started Robert's war, since he was betrothed to her. Ned eventually found her, dying after having given birth to a boy (Jon Snow). So, Jon Snow (in this scenario) is the son of a Targaryen and a Stark. If he were to marry Danerys, who, I think, would be his Aunt, then we have the Targaryen tendency of marrying one's close relative.

I have no idea if that would turn out to be the case, and since GRRM is taking his sweet time writing the ending of this saga, we may never know.
