Sansa wasn’t raped in last night’s episode :O

But furthermore, in the books Sansa was never raped. She was never even at Winterfell.

Her character has been merged with another lesser character in the tv series, but in the books what the lesser character went through on her wedding night was worse than what happened to Sansa.

But the merging of these characters works pretty well on TV, because it gives the character of Sansa an opportunity to grow. In the books she is just kind of lost riding around somewhere where we do not know with Littlefinger, so this is more effective.

Have to realize that if you are married off to Ramsay Bolton, you probably are not going to have a fun time.

Ser Meryn Trant has always been a monster. He trided to murder Tyrion on the Blackwater while Tyrion was saving King’s Landing from Stannis.

And as far as Stannis goes, if he did in fact burn to death his lovely daughter while he stood there and watched just to aid his quest for the throne, then he is the worst man of them all.

There is no greater villain than Stannis at this point.

Yeah, I saw my mistake as soon as I posted.

But that is what I am saying, Sansa was never Raped, Stannis never Burned Shireen.

I don't think this plot line with Sansa improved her at all, it tossed out her Character Development right out the window, and she is back to being a Helpless Victim AGAIN.

No More Grown or well rounded than when Joffery had Meryn Trant beat her in in Season 2(?)

WARNING QUOTE FROM WINDS OF WINTER SPOILERS: (Highlight to read)

/Spoilers: It may be that we shall lose this battle," the king said grimly. "In Braavos you may hear that I am dead. It may even be true. You shall find my sellswords nonetheless."

The knight hesitated. "Your Grace, if you are dead —

"You will avenge my death, and seat my daughter on the Iron Throne. Or die in the attempt

Does that sound like a man who will Burn his Own Daughter? That is from The Winds of Winter, a quote from Stannis while he's stranded in a valley forge esque nightmare scenario countless miles away from the wall and Shireen.

If Shireen gets burned in the books it will have to be The Red Witch or Selyse. Stannis isn't logistically capable of doing it.

/End Spoiler

If you think a marriage to Ramsay Bolton will have a happy ending, you haven’t been paying attention.
