I feel sorry for Bruce, and I wish those around him would have been more supportive as his problems emerged. If a friend says, “I’m an alcoholic” a decent person doesn’t say, “if that’s who you are, let me help you to get plastered,” but that’s what Bruce Jenner’s friends did when he started to lose contact with reality. It’s sad.
