Confiscate them how? All the world’s armies, paramilitary, gendarmes and police organizations, if somehow magically transported to this country, could not confiscate 1% of our weapons in a year and I hazard a guess that at least 1/3 of them would be dead at the end of that time.
Once the government has the addresses of the people that registered their weapons, it would be a simple night attack in their homes to confiscate them. We saw this in New Orleans, after hurricane Katrina. After the hurricane, they sent in their deputies to every home that registered their weapons and confiscated them. As of today, none of those weapons have been returned to the owners. So, you can make fun of me all you want to, but they’ve done it once and will do it again.
