Making all those e-mails permanently disappear requires all of those addressees to delete them and to clear the servers they were sent to.
I find it likely that some of those addressees are holding their copies for their own purposes and benefit.

There’s only one reason to use a private email for your government job......
Check out the ones released here - easier than some other sites I’ve been to BUT the number of emails released is distorted as those counted include the original one and then any replies to that are counted as another email...One email could have several replies/forwards on it but it’s still one email IMO. I have no idea how they managed to set them out as ONE email. You can see the subjects duplicated and it’s only a PORTION of the whole email.
I’ve skimmed through a lot of these and it does appear that the State Department depended on editorials and articles in publications for their day to day jobs! I have yet to see any that “H” wrote that had any meaningful content - she was mostly asking others for their opinions!! Smartest woman in the world didn’t give orders????
