I had the same reaction. In a word, I bit my tongue and let the clown twist in the winds of his own foolishness.
Thanks for the ping!
I have come to the personal conclusion that the majority of texans are more patriotic to mexico than the US.
You my friend are full of shiite.
I spent 7 years on the border with like minded patriots fighting back the hordes of illegal invaders.
My suggestion to you is to plant your lilly white yankee arse on the border next time and stop them.
Windflier, thanks for the ping to this POS post.
“...consider the fact that it takes multiple nations scattered across the earth, and millions of third world laborers, to perform same tasks that a handful of skilled Americans could easily accomplish...”
You said, “...Like most business interests, people chase the best return...”
Well, that’s sort of the point of “business”, isn’t it? As far as the added, “...at the cost of everyone else...”, both the labor market and the end-consumer market get to decide if that cost is too high by patronizing the business or not.
If you don’t like cheap 3rd-world crap, don’t buy it and don’t work for the biz selling it. But it seems the vast majority of shoppers don’t mind. I don’t think it’s right and I wish the vast majority of shoppers would resoundingly reject cheap 3rd-world crap, but the fact is *they don’t mind*. They haven’t for decades. They have freely chosen to embrace it.
You can not fix that by trying to artificially force the end consumer’s market choices (union driven, govt driven or otherwise). I think you fix that by winning the end-consumer’s shopping decision of their own free will and volition. Easier said than done.

Wow...I equate your philosophy to your existence as a largemouth bass who chomps at anything that looks like a meal...
By all means, let us know how the schmups in your state government screw you over with that mileage usage tax when you are driving around...I and the majority of Texas would like to know how well that works for you guys in your utopian society...
Just to be clear, your assumption about the majority of Texans is insulting, asinine and should not go without a response...
Throw rocks in your own glass house...
It’s becoming comically obvious how threatening a Cruz candidacy is to both the GOP and the Left (not to be redundant).
Keep digging. I can’t say they won’t eventually find some dirt that will make me change my mind - hey, anything’s possible when it comes to politicians - but at this point with Cruz, I rather doubt it. His history isn’t sealed by court record and he isn’t spending millions to conceal it like a lib-tard Dem politician; ergo, he isn’t afraid of what may be found.
Despite their best efforts, Cruz is still my first choice by a *w-i-d-e* margin.
“The economy in texas is no better than a third world colony.”
Based upon what??? Your subscription to the New York Times??? Or the Oregonian Democrat???
I highly recommend you cut back on the amount of bowls you smoke a day...Your hallucinations are becoming almost comical...
Gracias...
Oh sh!t...I guess “rat” is going to think I am playing to the messkins with my response...
My Mexican bride took a look at this thread and is wondering if the “rat” has had his huevos rancheros cut off yet...She believes it would do the gene pool some good...
That’s a direct quote...
.... hows that Dearborn thang working out for ya’ll...?
It is necessary of course to the all candidates all the time
