Legalize as in work permits. That’s not the same as citizenship. Walker says let them pay a $100 fine and then give thme a path to citizenship. Cruz says no to cititzenship for anyone here illegally.
I know that’s not the same as citizenship, but it is 80% of the way there—and there’s no way that citizenship wouldn’t soon follow.
But I agree, he’s at least better on it than Walker. What is amazing is how the GOPe is managing to bloat the race with upwards of 20 presidential candidates—of which actually zero want to enforce our immigration laws in respect to illegals already here.
Legalization/amnesty leads to citizenship, which with the numbers and political proclivities involved would guarantee that any “conservative” candidate elected in 2016 would be the last conservative candidate elected nationally in this country.
