I had one very sincere and nice black person tell me she thought only white people could be racists because in her understanding, that’s what the word meant (whites denigrating blacks). It was bizarre, but that’s what she thought the word meant.

It used to be that blacks could not be racists because they "didn't have power". I guess 6+ years in charge in the White House and the Department of Justice finally required another redefinition.
