Why The Left Must Lose

hammers

President Obama was swept into office in 2012 because Republicans went along with the notion that the Left really wants what’s best for America—they just go about it differently.

On the back of a foreign policy triumph of the “Arab Spring” (in scare quotes because it was neither Arab not spring; rather it was trading a set of strong-man dictators for a worse cabal of death-loving terrorists) and Osama bin Laden’s death, Americans were duped into believing the Left had something to contribute to U.S. interests.

It’s well known that the Obama administration, including current Democratic queen-elect Hillary Clinton, lied about Benghazi, and now it’s likely that they lied about bin Laden too.  None other than investigative journalist Sy Hersh, who famously exposed the My Lai massacre and the abuses at Abu Ghraib prison, has taken on Obama’s starring role in bin Laden’s death in a ten-thousand word essay published in the London Review of Books.

The White House still maintains that the mission was an all-American affair, and that the senior generals of Pakistan’s army and Inter-Services Intelligence agency (ISI) were not told of the raid in advance. This is false, as are many other elements of the Obama administration’s account. The White House’s story might have been written by Lewis Carroll: would bin Laden, target of a massive international manhunt, really decide that a resort town forty miles from Islamabad would be the safest place to live and command al-Qaida’s operations? He was hiding in the open. So America said.
If Hersh can rely on his record of being right, along with Obama’s record of lying, Hersh’s accusations are likely true.  Read the whole essay, it’s truly fascinating.

These twin lies expose the Left’s cracked foundation:  corruption, lying, and advancement of these lies for the accumulation of power are to be admired.

For this reason alone, the Left must be defeated.

Liberals can hold up Richard Nixon and Tom Delay as examples of GOP misconduct, but these are examples of personal failures.  Joe McCarthy is used as an example of excessive zeal in pursuit of American interests (actually McCarthy was more right than wrong, and Democrats ruled the House Un-American Affairs Committee for almost 50 years—McCarthy was a senator), but the Left is more vested in denouncing those interests than McCarthy’s invective, which they frequently exceed in their own causes.

In every area in which the Left seeks power, they use The Big Lie™ to congeal their power base.

Global warming was never about climate change or scientifically valid earth studies.  It’s about leashing the capitalist economies of the West.  China, whose totalitarian government brutally devastates the environment, is let off the hook with paper promises not worth the trees killed to print them, while America agrees to hand its economy over to the Left’s wild-eyed Greenie Brigade.

The United States intends to achieve an economy-wide target of reducing its emissions by 26%-28% below its 2005 level in 2025 and to make best efforts to reduce its emissions by 28%. China intends to achieve the peaking of CO2 emissions around 2030 and to make best efforts to peak early and intends to increase the share of non-fossil fuels in primary energy consumption to around 20% by 2030. Both sides intend to continue to work to increase ambition over time.
While China gets to pump greenhouse gasses at an increasing rate for 15 years, America commits to more expensive power and more opportunities for corrupt walking-around-money handouts like Solyndra.

LGBT rights haven’t been about real gay-bashing for the last 30 years.  Gay activists are reduced to manufacturing slurs and slights, when gays have been perfectly accepted into American society for decades.  Their real agenda is exposed when conservative gays choose to host [mc_name name='Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)' chamber='senate' mcid='C001098' ] at a private party.  Toe the entire Leftist agenda, or face the bullying consequences.

It’s about marginalizing Christians, specifically Bible-believing Christians, who have a nasty tendency to believe in liberty (the real kind), honesty, and virtue.   If the Bible can be removed from the public square, the Left can replace it with whatever Big Lie™ they want.

If people like Janet Boynes—a former lesbian who left the lifestyle—exist, then the argument that same-sex attraction is an immutable characteristic might be false.  Accepting Boynes might lead to a whole list of deviant conditions like pedophilia and zoophilia (big love for horses) being found to be—well, deviant.  For Michelle Obama to go after obesity, which is scientifically shown to be tied to genetics, as a deviant behavior worthy of starving 50 million students or feeding them inedible slop, while ignoring Boynes (when there’s zero scientific evidence of a “gay gene”) is beyond hypocritical.

It’s purposely deceptive.

On foreign policy, the Left lies; on civil rights and race relations, the Left lies.  On “science” (as the Left defines it, “science” is anything that supports their presupposed conclusions, while “anti-science” is any evidence to the contrary), the Left lies.  On economics, the Left lies.

To gain, maintain, and consolidate power, the Left lies.  Not just little lies for personal gain, but an entire ecosystem, one Big Lie™ after another.  There’s nothing the Left won’t lie about to gain control of people’s lives and subvert liberty.

The Left must be fought on every side, confronted with the truth for every lie, and reminded of their lies in answer to every loaded question from every reporter.

In 2016, there’s plenty of conservatives to choose from in the presidential race.  This campaign isn’t about electability though.  It’s about taking control of our country—and our lives—before the Left’s lies damage both beyond recovery.

The Left must not be allowed to win, and if that isn’t enough to motivate conservatives to get up off their couches and away from football games, entertainment, and video games, then we will all reap the rotten fruit of the Left’s lies, deserve it or not.

Our struggle for truth must be won regardless of the difficulty.  In Churchill’s words: “Never give in–never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy.”

They’ll lose after the collapse. Until then it’s all wins.

I was about to make the same point, with only wording as a variation.

The 2008 and 2012 R candidates stood for the same socialistic ideals - just on a longer schedule.

More like two generations of lies, lies, and more repeated lies by the media to the gullible masses.

And the twits believe it to be gospel.

Yup. Left is not gonna lose this one. They’ve kept Student Loan Forgiveness in their back pocket for this one-time strategic deployment.

It has been said that, when given a choice between a Democrat and a Democrat, people will usually vote for the Democrat.

President Obama was swept into office in 2012 because the Republican candidate stood for nothing.

And moreso in 2016 — Romney is, politically speaking, indistinguishable from Obama. (And if November 2014 to now has taught us anything it's just how stupid those claiming that congress would hold his feet to the fire actually are — I mean look at how they "oppose" Obama, who isn't even "their guy".)

In fact, that the Republican Party has consistantly stood for nothing is the reason I didn't vote for them in 2014; I knew that their win would not be taken as a repudiation of the Democratic Party's policies, but rather as proof that (a) no actions are actually needed, and (b) yelling I'm not a democrat [even if rolling over for them] is enough to win.

Sorry, I was thinking 2008 and 2012... I guess I need some coffee.

The leftwing MSM does truly believe that their ideas will result in a better society,
and they also believe that the masses have to be lied to in order to get there,
because their ideas are not easily understood by those masses.

That’s why they do what they do.
