Evidently persecution of all Christians is occurring throughout India at this time.
India is a dreadful place.
It’s a bad time to be a Christian as of late it seems.
This article “stinks” to high Heaven. Hinduism prescribes the eternal duties, such as honesty, refraining from injuring living beings (ahimsa), patience, forbearance, self-restraint, compassion, among others.
It isn’t the only one I’ve found. There have been other ‘attacks’ in various locations in India, not just in northeast India.
As for “ahimsa”, I assume that means NOT beating Christian children nearly to death with sticks, right? So they must not be good Hindus, or am I wrong?

Hinduism is not so much a religion as a galaxy of religions. Various groups have little in common with each other. Some of the Tantric groups prescribe intentionally violating the eternal duties you mention. To be fair, various “Christian” groups have done the same.
The subject of the Bhagavad Gita, after all, is the religious duty of a warrior to fight.
