Baltimore is in a state of unrest and the mainstream media is condemning protestors as vigilantes. In other words, when it comes to black rage and pain, its business as usual.
Martin Luther King, Jr. said A riot is the language of the unheard.
Since the beginning of time, riots and have revolution have gone hand in hand. From the Boston Tea Party to Nat Turner to the L.A riots, there has never been revolution without them. To dismiss the riots as just the actions of thieves trying to get free stuff is to ignore history. While Whoopi Goldberg and President Obama may condemn the protestors, I understand that there wont be any change without them.
These arent simply acts of violence; these are cries for help from the people of Baltimore, who are fed up.
This brutality didnt start and nor will it end with Freddie Gray. Since 2011, the city of Baltimore has lost or settled over more than 100 cases of police brutality, paying more than $5.7 million in awards and settlements. .
The statistics in Baltimore are staggering:
Baltimore has the fifth highest murder rate in the country. In the zip code where the rioting took place, the unemployment rate is 19.1% more than twice the national average. Reportedly, less than 60% of high school students graduate.
No jobs+terrible school system = a community with little no hope. The residents of Baltimore are struggling to survive.
Freddie Gray was murdered by the Baltimore police department. He suffered a cruel death. His spine was literally broken and by the time he reached the police station, he had three fractured vertebrae and a crushed voice box. It then took the police 45 minutes before they reached the station. No one is sure what happened during that time and we still have no idea why he was arrested in the first place.
Although the arresting officers were suspended for their actions, were still dont have any answers.
The reality is they dont care about us or our community until it becomes the next talking point on CNN, MSNBC or Fox News. Cable news pundits are quick to point out that the businesses in our neighborhoods are burning, but the reality is that we dont own these businesses. When we go into those businesses, we arent treated with respect. We have no allegiance to these so called businesses in our community.
Unfortunately, it is also a grim reality that when the flames are out, folks get self-righteous on social media. All of a sudden, people care about the CVS pharmacy and what the media thinks of us. Why? They dont think of us any other time.
Black people are literally on the news every single day because they have been murdered by the police. Just this week alone, weve lost Terrance Kellom and Hector Morejon. Its only Wednesday! This as we still reel from the devastating decision in the Rekia Boyd case.
We are more than sick and tired. We are through.
Black rage and pain has always made white people uncomfortable and scared. Its only when you threaten property or disrupt the status quo that anything about your Blackness and Black neighborhood concerns them.
Neighborhoods in Baltimore, Chicago and Detroit have had to get comfortable with terrible conditions for decades. There are still blocks in cities across the country that were never rebuilt after the 1968 riots.
This anger and pain is the result of Rekia Boyd, Eric Garner, Oscar Grant, Tanisha Anderson and so many more. Something has to be done. The police have to finally be held accountable.
Sadly, by the time you read this piece, another Black person will probably be killed by the police. Because we are killed by the police every 28 hours. Just let that sink in.
While Im not out there throwing rocks at the police, I understand.
Our rage and pain is real and we will be heard.
Perhaps they will be heard
If they screech and howl
And throw feces.
Like, like... Hmmm...
Aardvarks? Antelopes?
Buffalo? Lol, no not buffalo, they dont even have hands
Bears? No
cougars...?
Howling, screeching, jumping, feces throwing, hooting?
Ah, i give up
Behave like a rabid animal, expect to be put down like one.
I never argue feelings. I have no idea how this person feels, so I'll avoid arguing about feelings.
Actions on the other hand... Those are objective and can be the same for everyone.

This makes white rage to black rage a valid reaction even if it make black people uncomfortable
They have a Democrat President. They have a Democrat Governor. They have a Democrat Mayor. They have a Police Chief who is an American of African Descent.
No matter how much they don’t want to, eventually, they are going to have to look in the mirror and see their problems.
Take your rage and shove it. I’m white but I am NOT uncomfortable...I am disgusted with all you gibmedats. SCREW your rage.
Oh, I didn't realize the investigation results were released... can someone show me where they are?
“Comments?”
Typical Democrat run hellhole. It’s great to see the “war on poverty” working so well, isn’t it? Sheesh.
It’s getting to the point where “good citizen rage” is going to have to carry the day in a lot of places...
Opinions are like a-holes, everybody’s got ‘em.
Baltimore has been exclusively run by democrats for the last 45 years, and exclusively by black democrats for the last 20 or so.
“Black rage” may or may not be valid in some areas, but in Baltimore, at least, “black rage” against white people is absolutely NOT valid.
“All of a sudden, people care about the CVS pharmacy and what the media thinks of us.”
Maybe the angry writer fails to notice that nobody gave a hoot about the looted wig shop (completely cleaned out) that was shown on the news...
That scenario would involve something resembling personal responsibility. Personal responsibility is to urban ferals like sunlight or holy water is to vampires.
In general, blacks want the white man’s world, but they don’t want the white man in it.
I think this lady is misunderstanding the typical white reaction to the feral’s actions of late.
“Oh, I didn’t realize the investigation results were released... can someone show me where they are?”
Sure, in her tiny and obsessive mind only, so far. That is the wild leap of judgement that the “black grievance industry” has made.
I must say that the recent indefensible gunning down of a black man right next door here in South Carolina hasn’t helped matters one bit. I think that cop should be the first public execution in nearly a hundred years personally. Firing squad seems a good method to me.
(I also tend to think public executions in general are a good idea...what do y’all think?)
You have doubts?
Look at any police scheduling sheet. The ‘black community’ gets police. People of other races get to buy security systems (on their own dime) and form watch groups.
My suggestion?
Hire babysitters - don't use the police to deal with out of control young me... You don't like the police. Fine. Keep black fathers in the home. White people don't 'owe' you fathers for your kids in the guise of police officers.
Can someone tell me what she wants?
I have no idea.
No they don’t; they got it in the former British colonies of East, West, and South Africa - and they are nightmares. Many (and they are being joined by growing numbers of whites) want a life of leisure without such headaches as taxes, jobs, responsibility, etc.; black men really living in the white man’s world have nothing but contempt for the savages on display in Baltimore. They fear them, and move away from them as quickly as they can when the opportunity presents itself.
While it still may be an unjustified shooting it does give credence to the cop's account.
Anyway there has to be a reason the leftist media isn't riding that story into the ground.
Rage is never valid, especially the version of rage that steals and vandalizes buildings — and worse.
The Christian way is to leave vengeance to God. That is not to say you ignore the consequences and justice offered through the judicial system as the Amish do. But it means you do not return evil for evil. The Christian way would wait for the legal channels to investigate and handle it while they pray for the city and police department and for truth and justice to win.
