I’ve never understood, going back to the big riots of the ‘60s, how exactly rioting is some understandable reaction to whatever grievances are felt by the black community.

Does anyone really thing that this allegedly understandable justifiable rage is helping their cause? Does anyone really believe that this helps the public image of blacks, of young black men, the black community in general? Does any of this counter the stereotypes of blacks as criminals and out of control feral people??? Does any of this put forward some positive message of people working to overcome alleged hardship? Does a riot really accomplish anything?

If past is prologue, we may see these riot zones in Baltimore still looking like bombed out war zones ten years from now.

Having been through some of the race riots of the '60s in Rochester, NY, I can say that it was Johnson's "Great Society" and the assertions that told the Blacks they were victims and needed government "help" that turned them around from being well on their way to successful and prosperous integration to the mess we have today. In the '50s, the Blacks were starting to buy homes in better and better neighborhoods and were appreciative of their increasing standards of living. The Left saw that and decided to step in and put them back on the proverbial plantation and now they build the plantation walls ever higher, while rioting and howling that they are being held against their will - even as they refuse to step out into the light.

Because unfortunately, 50 years of liberal democrat policies have reduced a significant portion of the black population to the level of spoiled 5-year olds, who throw tantrums when they don't get their way. Incapable of reasoning to understand events that take place, and lacking the vocabulary or mental acumen to make a reasoned case for whatever it is they believe, they erupt in uncontrolled rage.

Riot = Tantrum. It's really that simple.

I remember back in 1964 when Harlem erupted in riots. I was watching the news of the riot, and some tv reporter was interviewing some black people who lived in Harlem.

Speaking apart from the hotheads was one little old black lady who objected to the violence and said "what good does burning down your home do you and your family?" She was shouted down by a few young hotheads who basically told her to shut up.

You've got this situation figured all wrong if you are trying to rationalize why these people are doing this. Most of these people are criminals and anarchists from out of town who are using this incident as an opportunity to destroy the system and get back at "The Man". It has nothing to do with logical protests against police brutality.

This is exactly what Obama and his Marxist followers want. Chaos, mayhem and destruction. This is all right out of the radical Left's playbook. They don't care about these people. They only care about their objective which is to destroy the free-market capitalist system and replace it with a government, top-heavy socialist/communist system.

This is just part of a grander plan of the Left. Simple as that.
