"Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, or with the breadth of his hand marked off the heavens?" -- Isaiah 40:12a

Beautiful verse. Before I got saved I was really into astronomy. So looking in the bible to see hints about galaxies and galactic structure, quasars, pulsars, black holes, neutron stars, gamma ray bursters, etc etc and what do I find.

Near the end of the 4th day "He made the stars also".

Now I see that as glorifying Him in that the universe is amazing and to Him it was trivial.

How about the Hubble Ultra deep field implying there are some 100,000,000,000 galaxies with an average of some 30,000,000,000 stars in each. And all different, like humans.

Psalm 147:4 He counts the number of the stars; He calls them all by name.

We know stars by spectra and people's abilities all differ and can be thought of as spectra when you see test scores with highs and lows.

1cor 15:41 There is one glory of the sun, another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars; for one star differs from another star in glory.

God is Awesome, His name is Wonderful!

Indeed.

And it seems the more one learns about His creation, the further one is from having an excuse for denying not just His existence, but even His attributes and nature.
