Left-wingers and progressives in America are becoming insufferable, are they not? It’s quite apparent that they have no desire to “live and let live,” but want to force their delusions off onto everyone else. You will live, think, and do as the Left tells you, whether you like it or not. Even in the pettiest of ways, they can’t help themselves.
Take, for example, this story coming out of the University of Oregon. To summarize for the reader, a student named Elle Mallon, who was running for office in student government filed a number of grievances against a rival student organization also running candidates in the recent election. The grievances she claimed? First, that the rival group—We Are Oregon—had organized a campaign event in a building which did not have “gender inclusive bathrooms.” She successfully (!) managed to get the ASUO (Associated Students of the University of Oregon) Elections Board to sanction We Are Oregon for this transgression, causing that group to be forbidden to campaign for 36 hours. The campaign manager for We Are Oregon, a student named Taylor Allison emailed an apology (!) to Ms. Mallon. Mallon then filed an addition grievance, claiming that Allison had “misgendered” her and charged her with sexual harassment. How so? Because Ms. Mallon has invented a whole set of pronouns—all her own—and demands that people address her using these pronouns (!). She wants people to use these entirely made-up words (“Mx” for “Ms.,” “xe, xhem, and hyr,” presumably for “he, it, and her” [?]) when referring to her or addressing things to her. Because Allison referred to her as “Ms.” Mallon in the apology email, this was “sexual harassment” and grounds for additional sanctions.

Tolerance isnt a virtue and never has been.
Besides they are not tolerant of everyone. They are tolerant of those who only think like they do, and are intolerant to anyne else who does not think like they do.
Does tht sound like a virtue? It does not, because it is not virtuous. That’s called a clique. It’s called brainwashing. It’s called hypocrisy. You cant claim to be tolerant if you only tolerate those who think just like you do. And fine and punish and attack and harass those you subjectively deem intolerant.
Why do we put up with liberals like Rand Paul, Marco Rubio, Jeb Bush in the GOP ?
My idea to deal with the democrat voter base is simple.
A once per year nationwide lottery. You can buy as many tickets as you like but when you enter you must forfeit your right to vote for 1 year. I’m guessing the jackpot would get up over a billion dollars and decimate the democrat voter base.
My thinking is that true conservatives are not likely to gamble their vote away.
Conservative students don't seek to shut down speakers with opposing views or throw pies at them. Conservative students don't seek to establish "safe spaces" where they don't have to listen to opposing political or social views. Only liberals do those things. Liberalism eventually leads to total madness...as these nutty lib college students are proving.

That is a good question. You know, from early 2016 to the election, there are going to be very nasty arguments here about the need to hold your nose one more time, and vote for someone you know isn’t going to govern in a conservative manner.
But the real answer to the title of this thread, (I didn’t read the entire article) is that as conservatives we live our own lives, not necessarily approving of the way you live yours, but acknowledging it is yours to do as you please. We are more concerned about how we will pay the bills, and set aside savings, than whether or not a dude can take piss in the women’s restroom. We may not like everything going on, but we don’t let anger guide our lives. Not to be flippant, but the old saying works, if life gives you lemons, make lemonade.
Liberals let anger guide them. They are the kid who is jealous about what the neighbor kid got for Christmas, and try to stir up jealousy in others who may not have been as lucky.
Conservatives are slow to anger, but when angry, they change the world. Only problem is, generations have to live in the liberal hell hole...er I mean utopia, before that anger finally reaches the point of action.
If conservatives just focused on that one thing, they'd stop every single thing these communists are doing.
You know how you find yourself saying "but what about our Constitutional rights?" That's the answer to that question - corporations have no rights, only privileges granted by the government. So the Left treats people like corporations, and people don't know that's important so they let it slide. And then they lose. Every single time.
