Fox News president Roger Ailes thinks Ted Cruz could become the Republican nominee. But he doesn't appear to think much of him.
In an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, Ailes was asked whether he thought Cruz could win the the GOP nomination. His answer: Sure, it could happen. Because just about anybody could win, right?
"Listen, we elected Warren G. Harding. Anybody has a chance," Ailes said. "You don't know who you're going to be running against. If the other guy falls on his rear end, you could win."
Harding -- ouch.
For those of us who haven't taken an American history class in a while, Harding looked the part of a president, but today is "considered one of the country's worst presidents," as Time said. He was president from 1921-1923, and his short administration was plagued by scandal and he died in office of a heart attack. Not exactly the example you want to follow -- apart from the whole becoming-president part.
So, yes, if Jeb Bush is caught on camera with his own "47 percent" remark and Scott Walker has an embarrassing photo of himself taken riding around in a tank and Marco Rubio does a weird yelp at a campaign event that goes viral and every other Republican candidate does something to "fall on their rear," as Ailes would say, Cruz could just as easily win the Republican nomination....

The establishment is concerned about Cruz, which is all the reason anyone needs to vote for him!!!
Jeb Bush, Scott Walker, Marco Rubio.
These are the acceptable candidates to The Cheap Labor Express. They will be the only ones getting favorable coverage from Fox News.
Fox News is part of the Ministry Of Propaganda, wholly owned by The Cheap Labor Express.
Fox is Carl Roves mouth piece.
Prezactly.
Ailes is an establishment guy who hires people like Whoraldo Rivera, Alan Colms and Shemp Smith.
Karl Rove is Aile’s mouth piece.
Why is Rubio part of your list? He’s a big-time amnesty supporter and filthy liar.
I’d bet Ted Cruz doesn’t think much of Roger Ailes either
I guess they prefer the 69 position.
Hey Roger, Ted doesn’t care what you think.
Ailes reflects his boss’s views.
All three are amnesty guys, even though Walker is now saying he’s not.
I misread your post. My bad.
Those were the three reported as viewed favorably by Ailes and Fox News. If they view them favorably they’re for “Comprehensive Immigration Reform”.
FOX “News” is in bed with Soros.
Is there anything other to say?
Except BOYCOTT ALL FOX “News” advertisers.
Ailes doesn’t like Ted Cruz because he may stand in the way of the two establishment candidates Bush and Walker.
Harding was a better president than either Bush and significantly better than Obama.
yeah no. Well, bye Fox news.
