Excuse me very much, but no reparations — unless I get mine too. My family was here before the slaves, did the stump pulling in mosquito ridden swamps so the slaves could do the easier job of planting and picking cotton. And my great-grandfather signed up with UNION forces, caught TB as a prisoner of war during the Civil War. TB decimated the family for generations. We suffered huge losses because of the slaves.
So yeah, bring it on.
IMO this move would remove 1/3rd to 1/2 of 0bama’s support among whites. White people are utterly sick of this racialist crap and they see how it has invalidated the tolerance they have worked on for the past 30-40 years and pissed on it. Now, “removing 0bama’s support” is largely meaningless because he’s not likely to run for anything 2016, conspiracies aside.
Above all, however, it would solidify a long term poisoning of race relations in the country and would be a fitting legacy of his vicious, divisive term in office.
Given the sycophant racialists he surrounds himself with and how unprincipled he is, this could happen. IMO, coming from the top and thus ratifuying the legitimacy of the idea, it would be the permanent destruction of race relations. And guess which south-of-the-border groups would immediately pick up the ball and demand theirs?

It would not surprise me for Obama to try such an outrageous stunt in an election year. Anyone who opposed could be quickly branded as racist. If this is the method Obama uses, he may wait until mid-summertime of 2016 to bring it up. That way, the topic will still be a red hot potato that nobody on our side wants to be seen holding or tolerating.

For every three slaves freed there was one casualty in the war, fighting whether backs should be free or not. KIAs, loss of arms or legs, eyes, disease. ONE white casualty for three slaves.

Reparations were paid in blood and lives.
I think what they really need are more liquor stores, more gun stores, and decriminalization of crack.
