I used drip-o-lators for decades. Then, several years ago I noticed coffee just didn't have any taste. I tried different brands with similar results.

I finally bought a Faberware 4-cup percolator. It is great. It perks 2 to 4 cups in 2 minutes.

I concluded that the drip-o-lator I used for several years would not heat the water hot enough to release the flavor from the coffee.

The Faberware 4-cup is about $50.

I have one of those. It’s my ‘travel’ coffee pot. Stainless steel so it gets packed right in my suitcase along with 2 travel cups, coffee, and creamer. It has been all across the U.S., all over Mexico and the Carribbean.
I want real coffee when I wake up in the morning. Not the pod crap, not instant, and I don’t want to have to leave my room to get it. Lol
It still works like a charm.
