"“Once you [secure the border] then you can talk about enforcing the laws by using an effective e-verify system for all employers, one that works for small businesses, farmers, and ranchers, and making sure that any legal immigration, no amnesty, any legal immigration system we go forward with is one that ultimately has to protect American workers and make sure that American wages are going up. That's the way we prosper for every hard working American in this country," Walker told Hannity.

Walker is so far the first possible Republican presidential candidate to make the case the immigration policy should be related to Americans workers and wages.

Sw is making an excellent point by demonstrating the connection between “American Workers” vs cheap labor of illegals. Very smart way to approach the issue.

Big Union should be listening to SW.

Texas is leading what?

It’s being invaded

First place, we have a group of brilliant students here all top 25% going to some state school can not get admitted to A & M no matter that their siblings are there or that their parents fly the a & m flag. Got one of them admitted full ride academic to an outbid state school for engineering. Has a measly offer from a & m though 4 of his siblings went there

Saw a parent yesterday told me her daughter (whom I taught in mid school)was admitted to a& m for biochemical engineering. When I taught her she was not a brilliant kid. Iam amazed. Wanted to say WHA? then realized, Mexican last name.

Texas is leading a conversion in language to Spanish

Walker is all talk as far as I can see

Walker is good because there’s no one else? Is that the campaign? Geeze I take a lot of flak over not liking his Schlick and this is the compelling reason I should like him?

Lame

What every other true believer is looking for-- perfection, of course. Unfortunately, Jesus Christ isn't on the ballot, so a lot of the "true believers" will stay home rather than vote for an imperfect man or woman.

Better to let Satan's candidate win than to support someone imperfect, I suppose. < / sarcasm >
